Weekend Track Days?!

I've been searching about online to see what track days are available this summer and I can see naff all on the weekends? (Literally like 1 every other month)

I was expecting there to be at least a few more than that - surely i'm missing something here?

It is called racing & unfortunately during the summer months it happens at race tracks all up & down the country.

Race tracks make more money from racing that track days, racing happens mainly between april to October hence reduced weekend track days through them months.

BHP Trackdays have just added a Saturday at Castle Combe 23/4 if that's any good?
Still quite a few weekend options out there but mostly airfields/small circuits and not too many near the South Coast.
What about Lydden Hill?

That's a fair enough point about the racing going on and I knew there was going to be some of it - just surprised how much is all!

mozzerS; that one would be good but unfortunately that's one of the few weekends i'm away this year

and Henry Fiddleton; evenings are great and all but I'd still have to take time off work as I don't finish until 6pm and it's a 2hr drive away.. hence the question being about weekends

Lydden Hill tend to have track day one Saturday a month.

If all you can do are weekends, you are going to be disappointed.
And most circuits are north of Watford....

Only southern tracks are

Brands
Castle Combe
Thruxton

And IMHO race tracks are far more fun than airfields,


Reconcile yourself to having to take days off work and travel up the evening before.

Best tracks if your car prefers twisty circuits and your wallet prefers reasonable fees are

Cadwell
Oulton
Snetterton.
