Employee Ownership

Hi,

Do any of you business gurus have experience of Employee Ownership?

For example, where an Employee Benefits Trust (or similar) purchases a company from a corporate or private owner, then runs the company with full employee ownership? Not the Management Buy-Out version.

If you have any good / bad / neutral experiences from a buyer / seller / advisor or any point of view, I'd be interested in hearing them.

Tends to deal with setting up, etc. though.

I would look at a cooperative as well as a partnership arrangement as well.

These models may give more flexibility for investment and other legal, financial and ownership options.
