At the end of the day....

Earlier:

Red Bull? Too common these days. This is a bit more gentlemanly, don't you agree?:

They look like mx5 mk2.5 seats.

Hi zippee. If you mean 9.42 on the excellent video then the red chim is my car and they have been correctly identified as Mazda mx 2.5 seats.
They were originally in cloth in good nick bought from eBay for £150 I manage to find some genuine black leather covers from I believe mx world for £415 the pair, my wife and I stripped and recovered them at home, not too bad a job to do.
They are very supportive and comfortable very pleased with the mod and one that did not break the bank

Thank-you for that. Were they easy to fit? Both in terms of width and also runners/mounts?

Zippee, width wise ok but found a problem with seat belt anchorage, had to mount them to the seat which is the norm for mx5 seats. In doing this you will need to reinforce the seat mountings,I did this by fitting steel plates from the seat to the chassis outriggers. The seat runners have a slight turn up at the ends, you could possibly straighten these in my case I made angular plates to allow the runners to sit flat,it's all worked well,I had a 2.5hours drive yesterday and they were very good.
