I've asked the seller to let me know if it's an L98 or LT-1 in it (or if he can send me a picture).

The wheels, front-end and back end all look like a '92 LT-1, or am I mistaken in that this revised look came in in 1991??? (I thought it came in 1992 with the LT-1)...

The front wheel is installed wrong, it is a right side installed in the left side.
The car does look as a 92 for me (black space between the park and side lamps), the bumpers are the same in 91-96 models.
Just ask the VIN number to be sure. If it is an 8 then it is a L98

I see it has a glovebox, my 91 has a glovebox too, but I think 92-up have a passenger airbag there.
So now it seems a 91 as stated.

New dash came in in 90' then new wheels/bumpers in 91' IIRC. The colour of some of the interior parts and graphics also changed in 92' (CD player for example). Oh, and square tailpipes - though these could be aftermarket.

Yes, the LT1 arrived a year after the facelift.
