Has any one had any experience with a sticking throttle?, i had to manually move the throttle plate to bring the revs back down.I applied lots of WD but its still sticking !

Hi Bunsen, has the car been on a lift recently.If yes push throttle pedal down with engine off.
If the pedal still sticks, disconnect the plastic pedal from the metal part of throttle, and try again, if all clear the the metal part needs bending, with a ring spanner, until the metal part fits into plastic part without any sort of tension.
This works on most i have come across, the floor slightly distorts,bents, when on ramp.
