Hi folks,

for a diary / calendar we are currently using a shared Microsoft excel file across our network.

- This works well as it give the 4 users access at once,
- It is very visual and is easy to update using comments on the cells
- It also allows us to tally the number of booked appointments at the end of each month.
- It is easy to customise as we have multiple appointments (up to 8 per day)

The one massive problem it has which some of you may know of is that occasionally comments are lost on cells (this is a known fault with shared excel docs) and their instability.

I want to share this file on a cloud setup so it can be accessed by our sales reps on location and now would be a good time to move to a different more reliable setup.

I would love to hear of any suggestions!

Yep, not sure what's wrong with this?

Google docs/ calender might also be a backup choice

What about something like http://gettimely.com - an appointment booking app - we use it for a salon, works really well with multiple staff booking appointments and has mobile apps etc.

We use Basecamp to share calendars and files, works fantastically well for us and can highly recommend.

Nice and visual with colours, and easy to set up projects, upload files, chat, ink, etc
