Commercial / decent vac packers
Discussion
You can pick them up second hand but they're normally being sold for a reason. Lid seals are easy to replace but pumps are expensive and if the chassis is cracked forget it. Theres also the potential issue of filter cleaning and what its been used for.
I bought one from my local butcher who was upgrading for a few hundred, full service just before I bought it etc. Lasted me 6+ years and probably still in use now. That was a machine that was originally £3K+
Cheapo chamber machines are available...

Factors to consider is the internal size of the chamber and the vacuum the machine produces, ie how much.
The one above is 300x330x70mm and just under one atmosphere so not a complete vacuum.
If its for commercial use time to vacuum is important and nitrogen fill is very important for extended shelf lives.

Cheers ! That one you posted before - good enough for domestic use?
Its got a warranty which I assume is for commercial use so for domestic use it should be fine. Only problem could be a few years down the line getting parts if it did go wrong. Buffalo seems to be a generic name stuck on a lot of cheaper equipment. If I was looking at a chamber machine at that sort of price I'd rather buy new with a warranty than an ebay special that failed after 6 months and was going to cost hundreds to fix.
I work for a commercial catering equipment suppliers (family owned), Buffalo are Nisbetts/RB Distributors own brand (they essentially take products already on the market, then get them made by their 'overseas' manufacturers).
If you're after something commerical i'm sure we could find you something, feel free to PM me, i did have an old account on here (theguvernor) but something went wrong at PH towers which meant i had to create a new account for some unknown reason.
If you PM me, let me know & i'll so my best to help you out.
