A female friend of mine has an early Boxted and it developed what appears to be a significant engine fault.
The car is now with the above company...does anyone know if they fair and any good?

I like the place, but they tend to look after the older stuff and don't have much space.

Living near Leicester, I did some research a while ago on Chris and GCR and I recall all the reviews I found were good.

Once my 981 is out of warranty I would seriously consider taking it to him rather than the OPC.

I've used them in the past and if I hadn't moved away would continue to do so. Chris is a top guy who knows his stuff. They know plenty about the water cooled engines too, I have 997.1. I think your friend will be fine.

I live close to these chaps. They strip engines and cars down to molecular level in their small unit, and I intend to use them for new pads all round before the year is out.

They seem to know their stuff. Wouldn't hesitate.
