Engine info please

What version on Rover V8 does a 1997 4.5 Chimaera use please chaps? Also, what differences are there from that version and the revised lump found in the Chim?
I used to think it was the 3.9, bored out and stroked to 4.5. But I'm assuming now it's the 4.6, as it says on Wikipedia.

Some confirmation would be very helpful.

Its a 4.6 X bolted block the best base for modding IMO but supposedly more susceptible to liner issues/shifting etc for what its worth maintain the cooling system inc no over heating woes and you stand a good chance

as sardonicus says, its the standard rover 4.6 with a tvr cam and maybe pocketed pistons
