VAT/TVA on services - UK and France

• I am based in the UK.
• My customer is based on France.
• I have a Franch services partner who will be delivering services on my behalf, in France.
• The services partner will invoice me at rate X on a T&M basis, monthly
• I will invoice the customer in France at rate Y on a T&M basis, monthly

Questions:

• Will the French partner apply TVA to their services to me?
• Do I need to apply VAT to my invoices to the end customer in France?

Is your French customer a VAT registered business, a non-VAT registered business or a private individual?
