I'm a fairly keen amateur and am aware of deep detailing procedures. And have spent days getting a car pin sharp in the past.

What I'm not very good at is the quick clean. It always seems to drag on into the evening and I'm never happy with the results. So my cars are usually dirty as I can't spare the time for a full clean.

So, what is your quick clean regime, when you haven't got all day?

I tried some of that Gyeon spray on, wash off stuff at the weekend and very impressed.
Should take the drying phase out of the equation. So now it's foam, rinse, wash, Gyeon stuff, rinse, leave alone.

Why would you do dirty wheels after cleaning the paint?

Any chemicals used on the wheels may get onto the paint.

When using the PW to clean the wheels/arches all the dirt gets sprayed around and again could go on the clean paint.

So for me its:

Wheels/arches
Snow
Rinse
2BM (inc shuts)
Rinse
Dry
Qd if needed
Interior
Glass
