WW3. Well that should deflect the media from stories about people getting stuck on level crossings.

Might be just what the EU needs, uniting against a common enemy. He's clearly not interested in making friends, regardless of the state of the Russian economy.

The EU wouldn't know one end of a gun from another.

Ther's NATO for military, the UN for peace - and the supernumery EU for doing fk all except make up rules for people.

As per the "Hunt for Red October" novel - They're sailing 70km's from a Russian Military port, if a Russian warship was doing the same 70km's from the massive Navy base in Norfolk, Virginia I'm sure the US military would also be doing very similar things to it (maybe not so close though).

The issue starts if something goes wrong (birdstrike on the Su-24 or something electrical on the Destroyer) and suddenly people think there's been a deliberate attack by one on the other.
