997GTS electrical plug disconnected

Does anyone know why this plug would have been unplugged.
The car was supplied by Mid Sussex Porsche like this

looks like the PSE always on plug, other wise it cuts out at 30/40 mph

Yes that is PSE valve control unit and when disconnected the PSE valves operate open at all times. I presume your PSE button on the dash makes no difference to the exhaust sound?

Only potential issue when left unplugged is the valves will seize and no longer function correctly when they are connected.
