Highest score in Scrabble?

I'm a bit good at scrabble and my highest score is over 550 (can't remember exactly) - but I usually get over 400.

Anyone else a bit handy with word games?

you can't really tell how good your score is without knowing how many people you played against (and how good they are, i suppose)

Yep - currently playing online at that very site. I once met a PHer playing scrabble.

I'm ok, usually score over 400 and usually closer to the 500 mark, although I could not tell you what my high score is.

I've always found this a little odd because no where else am I any good with words or spelling at all. I did pass O level English a year early but for the last 10 years have relied completely on spell checkers, grammar checkers and digital thesauruses to get me through.
