Rolex GMT Master Blue/Black prices

I doubt you will get a discount on one because of the waiting list, you might if you are a good repeat customer though?
I've just bought one a couple of weeks ago for a customer of mine (bribe) lol. I know my local AD and only waited a month so it shouldn't be too long a wait. Good luck, nice kettle.

I know everyone like a bargain, but I still don't get the "I want to buy a luxury good, but not willing to pay RRP for it"
Surely the point or rather the pointlessness of a luxury good is that it is frivolous, bought without financial concern, no?
Why pay more than you have to?Surely the point or rather the pointlessness of a luxury good is that it is frivolous, bought without financial concern, no?
As these can be £7k 2nd hand you are not getting a discount new.
Prob Rolex best watch ATM in good demand and still a rare site.
I have been on my local dealers list for 5months still no phone call, so bought one 2nd hand.
Lucky under list as know the 2nd hand dealer.
Good to see them over list though.

bought one last year for 5900 and had to wait about 3 weeks.
That was last year. Now you have to wait around three months.
My wife and I walked into Mappin & Webb in Cambridge about 18 months ago as she was looking for a new watch, she was able to try on a Submariner Date, a green on green Submariner date, two Explorer II's (black and white faces) a black bezel GMT II and she ended up buying a blue/black GMT II. Mappin & Webb Cambridge had all these watches in stock at the same time. She may have been lucky on the day as the blue/black GMT II was in stock.
You would be better off trying an AD out of London. I popped into Mappin and Webb Cambridge on a Wednesday a couple of weeks back to enquire about a watch Inwas waiting for. At the same time I put my name on the list for a BLNR. The following Saturday I had a call saying one had come in and a couple of people before me didn't want it. I did pay rrp though which is £5950 now.

Blimey that seems cheap? Is that all the retail is on these? Been so long since I've looked at the window price of a Rolex. I've been fancying one of these for a while now,and I'm only 40 odd minutes away from Cambridge.Gassing Station | Watches | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
