Has anyone run into any difficulties since CRB became DBS?

Just wondered if anyone can comment on the above?

Any issues at all, but possibly around volunteers?

Only difficulties have been the amount of time it takes.
I took on a project that involved vulnerable adults and young people, and my camera man and sound engineer both needed DBS, it took 119 days!.

More problems when it was CRB IME. Enhanced disclosures seem to be a couple of weeks top now. Main issue seems to be needing a new one every time for each "job".

Recently took on two accountants, it took 8 weeks to get DBS checks to come through.

We DBS check all our volunteers, we've just done about 40.
No issues at all, though a couple were asked to clarify dates/addresses.

One potential volunteer warned us that it would show some things from her past... It was a 28 page long disclosure.

Might seem an odd question, but do any of your volunteers feel offended by the CRB/DBS process? Especially older/experienced ones?
