LP560's dropped below £100k

Interesting to see that LP560's have dropped below £100k however pre LP cars have increased in value.

Will there be a re-bound on LP560's once the value of spending a relatively small percentage extra gets you a much better Gallardo version. For example why spend £75 on a first generation version when a LP 560 is just £15k more with similar mileage.

There are many commentators and economists predicting interest rates to stay the same till 2020. With this in mind I think the Lamborghini asset bubble should eventually start to increase meaning LP560's nudging back above the psychological £100k barrier.

Well that sounds good and just having bought an LP570 I hope they go the way of the 430-16m's

I see what you mean, I've been looking at buying a Gallardo Spyder privately, yet cannot get my head around how much they have appreciated in price since I sold my Coupe.

As an LP570 owner, I would love to see these cars going up in value but I really don't see it. There has been a small decrease over the last few months and there is just not enough love for them at present.

Not sure about them dropping below 100k. Just did a search on PH and found 3 - one was LHD, the other was a conversion and the other who knows... I have been keeping an eye on the market for over a year now and to me they have stayed the same.

I just couldn't see the F430 SCUD 16M as a better proposition so bought the LP570 Performante, 2 months on I still see the Lamborghini as a keeper.I looked at GT3 Macca650 even Huracan but just felt the LP was more special I hope more people start to feel this way

Horses for courses, and as a long term Lambo owner and a 16m owner there isn't any way an LP is more special than the 16m. That's why the 16m is twice the price.

You are absolutely right Juno - the Perfomante is a totally awesome vehicle which is a future classic and bound to rise dramatically in value!

(admittedly I am biased as I picked up this '11 model last month!)

Sorry it is its better looking, better built, better sounding, better value and IMO you would have to be certified to spend 300-400k on a 16M and i actually wonder if anyone has I was going to buy a 16m after my F430 Spyder but just didnt find enough difference for the extra 80K

Thanks! Funnily enough I was in negotiations to buy yours for a short time.... until Amari offered me £100K in part-exchange for my '98 Diablo SV; telling me: 'the Diablo market is depressed' ! :-)

I've got a proper Superleggera, a gen 1, with a manual box. One of ten, but I'm not deluding myself it is worth even a fraction of a 16M. The 570 was just a 560 with a mild ecu tune, different wheels and the gen 1's interior. That doesn't make it a bad car, far from it, it is bloody excellent, but it is not even on the same planet as a 16m - buyers of those cars aren't generally choosing between that and a 570, do you really think they are?

16M is a great car but I just don't see the value right now,yep wished I had bought one at £160k,its also like the Lambo a 430 with a tune and some carbon.Right now i would rather have the Lambo and a 650s for the same money as a 430 Scud
