Yep,
"Special" was the term I used when I ended up going home from that event on the back of a low-loader. Luckily nothing too drastic.
A very special treat to have someone who really knows how to drive put your car through its paces. Can't wait till my copy arrives to see what they said in the end.

Hi, was glad to hear it was nothing serious.
Exige's problem was a dodgy master brake cylinder.
Good article isn't it.
(Ah you haven't got it yet have you.....)

Nope, standard as standard comes. Funny really, the fronts are from the factory, and the rears are second hand off RJBen - fitted a few months ago when my originals started leaking a tad.
With all the discussions about the benefits of running with Nitrons, I was pleasantly surprised when he was very impressed with the standard setup.
17" S02's on - also std fit (although not from the factory!).
My favourite quote from the whole experience was when Jethrow said "Why don't TVR make cars like this anymore".
I fact I grinned so much he told me to stop it as I was obscuring his view through the windscreen
So my dilemma now - I’m saving for Nitrons, but is this the best way to improve the car - maybe a bit of engine fettling (I think that’s the term used) instead. Certainly need to stop the brakes from squealing anyway, and what to replace the tyres with....
Edited to say, this is Mr BlueCerbera, however my ability to login correctly seems somewhat
