997.2 RS Michelin Pilot Super Cup 2s - what tyre pressures ?

Hi All,

Whats the consensus on the correct tyre pressures (cold) to use on front/rears for the above tyres?

Conscious that the original tyre pressure sticker on the door-shut refers to a different tyre spec do wondering if Cup2s run at different pressures from cold.

I presume these are Pilot Sport Cup 2 tyres. For the road I expect you'll be fine running the standard pressures.

Yes. Meant to say Michelin Sport Cup 2s. Running 28 front and 33 rears.

Take the car to your local OPC and ask them to fill the tyres with Nitrogen. My 991 RS has it in, according to the TPMS the pressures regardless of use do not seem to fluctuate at all. ( which is nice!)

When you say regardless of use do you mean track work too?

If they aren't changing then I'd suggest you get your TPMS checked, hot tyres = hot gas in side. And regardless of whether it's air / nitrogen / unicorn farts - gases expand when they get hot so you should see some change.

In response to the OP I run mine at standard pressures on the road and get an even wear across the tyre.

I was not including track use. Before the Nitrogen was put in there would be a fluctuation between the fronts individually and the rears now the fronts and rears stay paired . That is what I meant. Sorry for not being clear.
