S2 2.9 Fuel pressure

Hi All,
Can anyone tell me what the fuel pressure should be at the fuel rail?
I have an ajustable releif valve and want to set it up properly.

mine is just over 40psi

A quick google search of the Bosch L-Jetronic Injection system gives this:



35 +/- 1.4 psi.

This is for a Porsche, but I think the Ford 2.9 V6 Efi system is pretty much the same.
The fuel pump is similar anyway.

Yes but unless the op is aware yours is a 24v Cozzie you could be confusing things


2.4 bar + or - a gnats!

Bars are ok as long as they are well stocked and don't run out halfway through the evening.
