I parked my car in my golf car park and came back to find a golf ball shaped dent in the rear panel, just below the rear window and above the engine cover. Anyone know if one of these mobil dent firms can get it out? I can't see a way to get behind the dent but perhaps a professional would. The paint is unbroken and I don't think the metal is stretched.

Try Dent Wizard, guys name is Ben Rickard Tel;07970542658. Porsche sent him to repair two dents in my month old car after they dented the two doors by leaving it parked tightly between two cars. He was excellent. I was surprised at how easily he removed them.

Claim from the golf club for the damage....I'm not a golfer, but my brother is...he has his own liability cover, plus he says that golf clubs always have cover as well (mind you, they'd prob weadel their way out by saying "parked at owners risk" or something stupid)...worth a try...

For a liability claim to succeed you have to prove that there has been negligence, something that always seems to be lost when people are trying to claim.

If you can track down the golfer who hit the shot and could prove that he was a good golfer who hit a crap shot you may have a case

The only negligence is where you parked the car

Depending on where you are, there is another Dent Wizard based near Leeds. His name is Dave on 07970542607

I recal a big thread about this some time ago. slightly differnt situation though.(here it is I think)
www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?t=135696&f=23&h=0&hw=golf

As for dent wizzard I used them and they were excellent. charges for me were £80 per pannel no matter how many dints. Job done in moments.

a golf ball sized dint may be a little too big but they are still worth a phone call Im sure they will be able to advise

Had a quick look at that thread.

As was rightly stated, you will not be able to pursue a PL claim,, however, duty of care may be your best bet, but you will still have to prove it first of all.

Thanks for all the relies. I will get in touch with my local Dent Wizard, I'm in West Sussex.

I don't think for one moment that this was anything other than a feak bad shot by someone, who probaly has know idea that they hit the car. I won't be tring to claim on the GC's insurance.
