World Superbikes not on the beeb this year??

Can`t see any listings for the first round today! It`s on Eurosport but I don`t have that.

There has been no announcement that the BBC will not be showing WSBK.

I think they probably will, remember it's the BBC only 3 sports matter. Football, Rugby and Snooker. They might carry others in limited viewing but don't care enough about them to publicise the fact. If they are going to show the Qatar WSBK it'll be 15mins of edited highlights to be shown on BBC2 1:30am on a Sunday night (Monday morning) 4 weeks from now.

I've just watched race one live on Eurosport, race 2 coming up at 12:30

No spoilers for anyone wanting to see the repeat later

I`ve found some terrestrial footage - Channel 4 at 1am this coming Monday morning

I`m not taking out a Sky package just for Eurosport, that`s all we ever watched through Sky when we had it before!

I think you can get Eurosport only without other channels, either by satellite or cable. Do you still have a dish & reciever?

Bloody BBC. At least C4 is showing it for an hour, though. God I miss Eurosport, but I don't want to give Murdoch any money now I live outside the cable catchment area.

Nice of the Beeb not to announce that they couldn't be bothered to show it this year. Oh look, more snooker and bowls...

Yes, still got the equipment - tell me more if you know how to get Eurosport (legally!!) without lining Murdochs pocket. I dare say most of Europe gets it free except us!!

Should I be looking at something specific on your Eurosport link?

I just thought it might be available as a single channel subscription. I know some hotels carry it without the full or partial sky packages.

Current Eurosport commentators Jack Burnicle and Jim Whitham are excellent, they ogle the girls on the grid and make fun of the riders. When the Alstare Suzuki team were in shot at one point on the pit wall watching their riders go past Jack said the team were really enjoying the race and how their riders were performing. Then they showed a shot of the rather large Mr Batter head of Alstare Suzuki and Jack said he was looking forward to his dinner tonight.

BBC who needs them total waste of time even when they did show motorsport other sport always comes first but a pity WSBK is shown so late on 4
