Paying them a visit on Monday, but from experience have found that quiet often smaller independent body shops can achieve better results

Worth a chat with Desmond Smail in Olney I reckon.

Heard good things about Classic Restorations in Hulcote too.

Give Aiden a call at AV Classic cars near Tring:

http://avclassiccarsltd.co.uk/

They've done several repairs (including mine) to fellow PH'ers and they were a LOT better than the original AM bodyshop that AM in Amersham sent mine too.

Hope that helps.

How about Chiltern Aston? They are an independent specialist, AM approved with a bodyshop on site.

I can vouch for Chiltern too.

I had some front end repair work done on my Morning Frost Vantage there a while back, absolutely faultless, and we know that colours like MF are a pain in the arse to do.

Many thanks for all your advice, had a visit to Aston Works yesterday and was given a full tour of the facility and have to say I was very impressed by the quality of the work and the professional attitude off everyone I spoke to.

Subsequently estimate on its way to the insurance company and hopefully a speedy repair of my car following a total brain fart by yours truly, selecting D instead of R and subsequently ramming the front end into a wall.

So sorry for your loss, I can only imagine the pain and guilt you must be suffering.

(+ the years of torment to come! "Are you sure it's in reverse?" etc.)
