Hi all,

Just joined and posted in the bike banter section about my replacing the London train/tube commute with a moped. I also own a 63 plate C63 AMG Coupe so thought I'd drop by here too and say "hi".

Got the C63 back in Jan and have had some enjoyable driving trips. Recently did a bank holiday road trip to Scotland: London to Edinburgh, Edinburgh to Applecross and then down to the Lake District before returning to London. The car is pretty much a base model C63 with split black/red interior and 19" rims. Here's a pic I took in Scotland.

Cheers

Sid

Thanks. So far so good. Bought it at just under 11,000 miles and have put approx 6,000 miles on the clock in the past 3 months. Kind of went nuts with doing long drives over the weekends. Tyres still have plenty of meat on them and they were obviously 'worn' when I bought the car. Lowest mpg I've seen is 19mpg and that was gunning it. Highest was 26mpg and then I got bored with driving at 60mph on the m-way.

Interior is the same as this http://image.superstreetonline.com/f/30865679+w660...

The split red convinced me over plain black, which is what I was looking for initially. The ladies like it, that's for sure.

I need to drive mine more I think.

I'd be lucky to put 2500 on mine in 6mths, let alone 3mths. As for 6000 in 3mths, give me 18mths for that biggrin. Well, at least the lack of driving it has kept me interested in it, and god forbid trying to shift a leggy one of these when I potentially plan to next year.
