History of Porsche Car Prices

Evening all.

I have tried Google and this place and failed.

If anyone could direct me to a site where there is a history of Porsche car prices when they were new..... I would be grateful. I.e if I wanted to know what a GT3 cost in 2007 when purchased new etc.

The only way I know (for all models) is to use the Parkers.co.uk free valuation and it shows the original retail price, e.g.:


(obviously wrong photo but supposedly right model!)

Actually trying to work out original cost of 997.2 GT3 from 2010. Says £86k on Parkers. Going for £120k now..... seem to be appreciating and if used sparingly and with demand of manuals going forward could push over £150k in a few years. Could be a sound investment!

Or sh*t hits the fan in the economy prices tumble to £60k but in the mean time you are driving a truly great car!

From memory , mine with a few extras but nothing outrageous was around £89K . There was a VAT change at the beginning of 2010 or late 2009 . I agree, these cars are very rare ( only around 120 UK cars now) and even at £120K today I wouldn't be tempted to sell.

Mine ( 2010 model ) from memory ( with a huge spec including PTS etc ) ( no ceramics ) was nearly £100k ( allowing for the VAT change ).
