Hey,

Does anyone know the precise weight of the chassis?

Without suspension arms and tank cradle

I could just about lift mine without any help, so not knowing this precisely, I would suggest an estimate at 80kg.

probably not far off with that as Norman and I lifted mine onto the Audi - had to take it off myself though

I'm sending my chassis using a transport company and I've asked a price with a weight of 150 kgs.

The thing is, if it's more than that, they will charge me some additional fees and I don't want that of course...

I could lift it with another chap and I don't think it's more than 150kgs ?

It would be easy enough to weigh it on some bathroom scales if you wanted to know for sure.

Probably, but I'd never get the chassis to fit into my small bathroom wink

The easiest way would be to construct a double A frame with a balance beam, pivoted in the centre, hang the chassis from one end, and suspend sandbags from the other end until the beam is level. Then take the sandbags to your bathroom and weigh them. Simples! HTH smile
