Couple of vids from today with a good friend of mine in his new Civic Type R and fellow PHer Max.

Merc behaved itself well and did a decent job with the Cup rubber on. Civic ran out of talent at one point and went off piste much to my amusement. Best time in the Merc was a 1.35 dead, best in the Civic was a 1.35.41.

Anyone else go?

I was there in the Black Clio 182. Good day all round, thankfully the weather was kind.

I was admiring your car in the pits, I like the tint on your exhausts.

I am surprised the Civic was 'almost' as fast.

I didn't see you out on track at the same time as me (maybe you were just too fast). I heard about your 'moment' with the Corsa smile I thought I might have a similar issue with the beaten up Mini...

Still miss my 172 Cup, that was a brilliant car with such a good chassis. The Civic is quite a weapon whereas the Merc is more of a blunt hammer where you can really feel the weight of the car under braking and through the bends.

The tips on the exhaust were black chrome when I ordered them from FE but after a few heat cycles on track they went all rainbow on me! You should have come and said hello.

The Clio needs a turbo! Great car just a little slow.

I caught up the Corsa but he would not let me pass so I just had to follow him for 4/5 laps as it had similar power down the straights. When questioned, he seemed to think he was faster than me despite me catching him up!

Next time I will come and introduce myself. Did you come across that orange McLaren?

I saw the Corsa out on track. I got overtaken in the morning by the Macca when I was on the AD08R's and then went out after him in the afternoon but a slight combination of me waiting for the Civic to get on and him just being better meant I didn't see him after a few corners in smile

Fair play to the Macca driver, he looked older than time! That'll be me when I'm grown up.

I missed the donuts completely...so unlike me.

I was the last man there changing my wheels and checking tyre pressures. I took so long a van turned up to escort me off site smile

Not sure if the guy in the Megane is on here but I hope he got some footage of the Merc following me for a session. I never find vids of my car other than the ones I take myself and I always think it's great to see how your car handles from outside.

I've already pulled all the ones of the German taxi down smile Great touch having the photos included aswell as tuition (and donuts). Made up for the waiting around to get on track!

Anyone got more videos?
