Will be changing the tyres soon on the above RR.

Currently have Michelins on but there is such a huge price difference between these and say Nexen Radian HP and Vredestein Ultracs that It is difficult to ignore.

The RR doesn't tow or get thrashed around and simply tootles around the town, country roads and motorways so is there really going to be a noticeable difference?

Any views would be appreciated.

Thanks

Both of the alternatives you suggest get good reports from people who have tried them over on ffrr

Vredestein imho is still a pretty decent brand, no?

Vrederstein on mine (RR Sport TDV8) circa 1 year 5000 miles and pretty happy.

Vred Wintrac extreme last pretty well, but if you do a lot of miles then Michelin Latitude Diamaris last longest in my experience

I get over 30K running Vreds all year but 40K out of Michelins. Had a set of Continental OE on the last time I changed cars, and they were gone in 25K miles and just gone back to Michelins

I do 20K miles a year, mostly motorway/A road, the Michelins are about £210 each but worth it IME

Cant say ive tried any budget brands...
