Handbrake cable help !

Hi chaps as part of my rear disc conversion, I need to fit the v8s cable I have bought , can anyone give some pointers , tips as to how to fit , set up or little cheats to make the set up easier .
I have my exhaust system off at the moment and don't really want to have to take it off to adjust the cable .
Any advice gratefully received.

If you're using V8 calipers, make sure you don't adjust the cable too tight or the adjuster at the hub won't work. There should be a couple of clicks worth of slack at the handle.

Thanks for the reply , I'm just a bit worried about having to mess around with the adjuster once the exhaust is back on !
I take it ,it's a bit of trial and error with the cables being reasonably taut with the handbrake off and the calipers released .

It's a fiddle but I can get at mine without taking any bits off the car!

I can't seem to get my hand anywhere near the adjuster at all with the exhaust system fitted !!!
Is there a sneaky way to get to it from somewhere else ......I'm beginning to think these cars were designed by someone on crack ......I work on aircraft in my job and they are similar in how awkward they are to change components ,I'm just a bit surprised how such a simple car can be such a pain .
Still I do love it when it's on the road.
