No! They are possibly better than they say.

Nice one Paul is it one of the two on offer at Gmund, perfect to keep T4 S company?

Yep, red one. t4s went last year, it was only good in a straight line, require something for the twisty bits. should get car next week, if the car checks out with Mr Belton I'll be a happy bunny, might even take it to Oulton instead of 944

Fantastic, that car seems to have had the right ugrades done to it and recently too, it doesn't look like there is any money that needs to be spent.

Dare I say it I don't think you will miss the Turbo once you have tracked the RSR.

Wow, the red one at Gmund!! It has the BBS mag wheels that I want to put on mine eventually. Gold spokes!! Outstanding.

I'll have my 993 RS at Oulton as well. Mine has had the Clubsport stuff done to it by Porsche although it was ordered from the factory as a comfort spec car.

having a new set of Dunplops fitted. Had the car on the lift, no signs of damage, for the age and mileage, car seems sound. as soon as I get it its going to Colins for the once over, if alls OK should be at Oulton.

Paul,

Long time! I still remember the VMax runs in your T4S - what a ride.
Gmund car looks like a beasty, congratulations!
Maybe see you at a Vmax in the near future?

Hi Paul
When you get the car inspected, just get Colin to check
Cylinder head leaks ,cylinder to crankcase oil leaks ,ltd slip diff wear. The first two can be expensive to repair.
You might just put it on the rollers for a couple of runs, as the rsr conversions on these engines can give less power than standard cars.(I’m sure Colin will check these points for you any way)
Looks like it may be snow & mud tyres for sat at oulton.

Anyone know roughly how much quicker (same tires, top driver etc.) round yer average track, say Bedford GT, is the 993RS Clubsport than standard 993RS?

Nice one! Hope you enjoy it.

Reading your distaste at your turbos handling...did you change the suspension on your turbo? Have just had the PSS 9 system fitted to mine, and the handling is transformed. Although prob nothing compares to the tangential capabilities of the RS

Turbo S had RS dampers and they worked well, its just trying to get 1560kg to turn aint easy, case of massive understeer that would change to oversteer without warning.....brown trouser job
