I was at Silverstone yesterday shaking down my 997 cup. There were a few GT4's there being driven around. One particularly well driven black one.

Lovely to see

A fellow competitor has recently purchased one with the intention of using it in MSA sprints and hill climbs. Given that it will be in the same class as me, I shall be interested to see how it performs.

I watched the black one lap behind an RS - I have no idea if the two were driving together but the GT4 looked amazing lapping with the GT3 RS.

Could not resist the chance to take a snap of this in the paddock car park.

Thanks buddy. Yes GT4 in the corners is just so well balanced, and well driven there's not many road cars this side of £250k that will pass you on track. I posted on here a few weeks back saying how well the GT4 goes on track and how it can punch way above its weight, it has no problem mixing it and often embarrassing things like its big brother GT3's/RS's/12C's etc. If only it had another 50hp - it would be perfect !!!

They ought to stick the full fat 4.0 500bhp in it rather than continually holding this platform back. As an aside does Harris still own that lovely green ST? Was it out on track?

Car is set up on the the track Geo settings Porsche provide the OPCs , makes the front end really nice with just the mildest of understeer on the limit of grip.

I'd be interested in what the OPC view is...my OPC didn't have this knowledge
