Just had a message saying my thread has been removed but no reason apart from saying "adverts not allowed"

Considering the amount of adverts on the forum wink i am surprised.

So seriously why has it been removed?

Surely the whole point of a forum is to communicate with others of a similar interest and to help out when possible?

I have some stuff i dont need anymore, some of which i believe has been discontinued so is not possible to buy, and thought it could be useful to someone.

Is that not the point of forums etc?

Thats what i thought but maybe not anymore.
It would have been nice for them to explain what the problem was rather than just a generic email reply. And if there was a query perhaps to i dont know maybe ask?

Sorry, but if you had said in the Title that the items were free it would not have been removed.

If they are in fact free I'll C&P your post here and you can C&P and re post without too much typing. smile

I thought it went without saying, but will change it if you prefer.
If you could post it or email it that would be great. I am miles away from it all so don't have sizes etc on me

Just had the same from a thread I posted probably 3 or 4 years ago. laugh

I wasn't selling anything, I simply listed a set of ramps I had and showed a link to who made them.

That's a separate issue, not dealt with by the mods.

Copy of your post Just having a clear out in the loft and have found a few bits which might be useful to someone.

Dry sump belt x3 for 16v xe vauxhall engine (caterham set up ) brand new but been in loft for ages. I think these are discontinued now iirc.

Band for split able dry sump tank 7"

Tyre rack which fits onto roll bar and carries spare wheels etc

Avon acb10 tyres 8/22/13 x4. Just about road legal

Avon slicks 7/20/13 x2 and 9/20/13 x2 almost on wear indicators.

The tyres have been in the loft for years but look OK.

Located in Tadworth or Billingshurst
