servicing in the n.west

my chim is in need of its yearley service and would appreciate some names and numbers in this arae of none dealers (i.e specialists)who would do a decent job and not rip you off like the main dealers do.im in hale cheshire and the nearest main dealer is chris neil at northwich who wants £450 and thats without any works on it.apprec any coments

Must admit took mine to TVR Blackpool but it was an ouch when I got the bill, car was sorted though, and couldn't fault the service. Heath in the service dept. couldn't do anymore to help.

Every time I've been to Chris Neil's they always tried their best, and often fix stuff wihtout charge, except for leaking roof that they reckoned didn't need replacing that was like sitting in a bath, went to Martrim's in chsehire and they did itfor £350 and its been dry ever since.

As a chim owner in the n.west am interested in independents/dealers too, as coming up to 30,000 in next few months.
Anyone got an opinion on Steve Reid Independent service, does it effect re-sale if not done by an official dealer ??

I'm not aware of an independent in the NW. A number of people have posted this queastion, including me, and no names have been forthcoming. I've used Chris Neil - good but dear. Last time I took mine to RD Racing in Sheffield.
