Scratch in Hamilton crystal - repair??

I have a Hamilton Khaki Navy Sub that I wear daily and I have noticed a scratch on the crystal around 3mm long. It is very annoying. Not a problem Inhave every had with my Tag's. I suspect his is due to the domed crystal.

Is there any way I can/get this polished out?

Can anyone recommend anywhere?

Polishing mineral crystals is a problem and, with domes, can lead to some odd optical effects even if successful - they act like lenses and the inevitable changes in curvature from polishing will show.

Original replacement is going to be dealer only but they take a fairly standard profile round dome and a generic replacement is easy and pretty painless.
