OK So I've sent my Cayman R off and settling back into life with the Unicorn S. Its awesome. Sublime. BUT theres one single aspect that the Cayman R nailed better. The exhaust. I have the PSE and the Cayman R I owned also had PSE. I understand that the R has a slightly larger diameter system but I suspect a lot of the crackly quality and blipping on downshifts is more ECU based.

So what options are there? The PSE sounds fantastic I dont really want more volume but the blipping/slight popping of the Cayman R Exhaust I do miss. I'm reluctant to let anyone near my ECU unless they really know what they are doing but equally wouldnt want to fork out for a replacement exhaust if the ECU is doing most of the work to make it sound better.

I wonder if that green R is still on the market? biggrin

Is there anyone in the UK or in Norther Europe (Carnewal?) that could do a couple of ECU tweaks?

Yes the R has more of a pronounced bark on downshifts

There was a CR PSE exhaust on eBay a week or two ago?

Must have missed that. The bogey green one that had a fabspeed and a spare oem looks to have sold. Maybe it was that one on ebay? The difference between the S and R is really subtle so im keen not to bugger about with it too much and spoil the sound.
