Train vs tractor on Norwich to Cambridge line

I'll admit to having a personal interest in this one as I sometimes use this line and have often worried about all the farm crossings and the way tractors ignore road rules...

However, initial reports are that the tractor driver contacted the signaller and was given permission to cross, then hit by a train doing best part of 90mph. Which is pretty scary.
