Hi All,

Just bought a 355 and I have been waiting 4 weeks now to get COC back,
The Indy I bought it through is dealing with it, has anybody else had to wait this long for COC or had similar experience? It's driving me nuts now, I just want to get in it and drive it, it's very frustrating!

Also sending paperwork to DVLA will delay me getting in it even more

I'm sure it will be worth it when I do get to drive it, but it's doing my head it at the moment

You should not need one for a 355 as it is over ten years old. Please double check the requirements for registering a car in the UK, could save you a lot of unecessary grief and expense.

Providing you have the original registration documents from the previous owner you do not need a CoC.

You will need a V355 form from the DVLA and need to fill in sections 2 to 10, 18, 27, 29 to 33 and 45. For section 2 it is PLG, I selected a higher tax group(K) and got it returned with it crossed out PLG written in its place, yes I had to re-apply.

You will need to get the car MoT'd and send this with two forms of ID as listed and payment for the tax duty and £55 first registration fee and a certificate of insurance or cover note.

Very straight forward and simply(when you know what is required)

This is all you need to know. You don't need a CoC. Dvla will confirm this fact over the phone should you not believe us smile
