I have to say Clarksons first review of the V12V is a stand out piece from all the Top Gear shoots, ever - and I try to say that without an Aston bias. It is just TG and Clarkson at their finest, and I have had Brian Eno's "an ending" in the car ever since the first week this was aired.

Agreed. TG and Clarkson at their finest. Although Clarkson can be a complete t*t at times, he can also be absolutely brilliant. Documentaries of his about, for example Brunel, and also the ill-fated WWII merchant convoy crossing the Atlantic were first-rate - beautifully written and presented. Can still be a prize plonker though.

It looks like someone has taken a beautiful V12 Vantage and has just completed a drive through Halfords with a large Halfords voucher to spend. I might add I guess said persons previous car was a Nova with a big exhaust on it.

No I was referring to the car in the AM release which is a beautiful organic shape which has been spoilt by go faster stripes and the addition of contrasting colours. Some of the V12s look really good but that combination imo just looks wrong.
