Why does life not mean life? I was always under the impression that life meant a minimum 13 years, so why is he able to be considered for early release after 6?

My Apologies!

I am staggered!

His terms will run concurrently and he must serve a minimum of six years before being considered for release.

I just don't understand this type of sentence..what is the point?

I also don't think the guy necessarily deserves to be hung, or rot away until he's dead...I think nine life sentences is absurd, but if you are going to give more than one life sentence at 48 years old that should mean that you die in jail!

I think next time i have two seperate debts i will ask if I can pay them off 'concurrently'...
