Hi all

I'm working around the Downham Market / Kings Lynn area for a few months, and was wondering if I should bring the wedge down.

Are there any others in the area? if so I would probably bring wedge down after easter hols .

Hi Colin,

Not in Norfolk as such, but South Lincs / Norfolk border near Spalding (about 20 miles from Kings Lynn).
The 400 will be out and about again soon when the weather improves. Also my neighbour has a 350FHC. Be good to see another wedge around the area.

Im based not far from Kings Lynn in St Ives. I'm tidying the wedge up at the moment and intend to have it running in April. It would be great to meet some fellow wedge owners.

Great there are some wedges near by, I will dust of the wedge and bring it down after the Easter Holidays and hopefully get to meet up.

I have to go near St Ives (Wyton) as well

Hello,

I live in Suffolk and go to a couple of really good TVR meets each month.

The second Sunday of each month is the (famous) Mid Essex meet which is held at Great Totham. This meet attracts around 60 - 100 cars each month and is run by the amazing Pauline and Diane. A few of us convoy down from Toys'r'Us in Ipswich and the journey takes about 45 minutes. The meet is held in a Golf Club House in the country, amd most people have a meal, a chat and a wander around the car park. It really is such a friendly meet and really recommended!

On the third Sunday of each month is the Suffolk/Norfolk meet, and this is held just a few miles North of Ipswich, again at a Golf Club. This meet attracts up to about 20 cars and is again really friendly and the source of much banter! Most people have a meal and a drink, and sometimes theres a run out somewhere too.

You would be made really welcome at both meets, and being a little way away from Norfolk also means a nice country drive! Just let me know if you fancy any of them and I will send you some further details, times, meeting places etc etc.

All the best,

Dan

I work in King's Lynn and only live a few miles away up the coast.
However until I can get a f******* starter motor the beast ain't going no where! but then it aint bin nowhere in 11 months ! hopefully th 1st anniversary of the rebuild will actually result in a fresh MOT!
In the event I get my small dilema sorted before you disappear back, i'll show you a few good watering holes that we can wake up!

Hi Both

When I have my car down I would indeed love to come along to both meets and a trip out near bury would also be fine.

I know Pauline and some of the Essex crowd from Race weekends, spent a bit of time around CDL racing

Regards

Colin

Dont't forget to bring your Wedges down to the Eastern Meet - see thread - on w/e of 6 or 13 March. If we have it on the 13 March we will join in with the Mid Essex TVRCC meeting - unless you prefer a Wedge only meeting?!
