Startin' to do this job for the first time on a Cerb.

The nipples appear to be 11mm
BUT
The inside nipple appears to be locked in. The outside was as tight as you would expect.

Do you know if the inside nips are bled during a good service ?

Ta for any insights thumbup

Be careful with your nipples!

They need tweaking every year to avoid seizure.

You run the risk of breaking off the casting of the caliper or shearing them. There cheap so replace them, there shiny too.
Use your own penetrating fluid to soak them, heat the shoulder casting up the aluminium will expand quicker than the nipple , use a shoulder drive socket and one of those
Light duty impact screwdriver guns to shock them free.
Make sure you use nipple covers, I always squirt some wd40 ish inside before putting the cap on.
Bleed both sides.

Have fun!

"shoulder drive socket" confused
Had a look on the web and it looks like a reinforced tubular box spanner but with a thread on the driving end.
Does one require a tool to 'drive' it ?

Ta !

Socket on a T-Bar, never a spanner or a ratchet unless the nipple is free.

If in any doubt, replace with new nipples, only a £1 each.

indeed, use a socket where you can, and more importantly use a 6 sided socket sand not a 12! Gives you a lot more purchase.

Large bleed nipple caps are available at powers, they cover the whole bleed nipple for better protection against water/rust.
