Well not quite done. Another coat or two plus clear coat.

Yes it's a 390.
I was tight on time last night so didn't have much to say.
As an update, I sold the car last fall to my buddy Keith.
Keith is an auto bodyman by trade and he did the bodywork. I helped by doing all the masking and pushing him further than he wanted to go, for instance, the hood-off respray, doing the engine bay, door jams et cetera.
Today I took some good pics of additional coats of paint and clear coat. My data plan on my phone sucks so I'll post some pics later on wifi.
Since the hood is off, Keith is sending it in to be refurbished... in black I think.
The paint was supposed to be a match for the original Oceanic Blue, but once applied looked more like gun metal blue. The clear coat had the effect of mitigating the darkness somewhat insofar as the colour looks in the midst of gun blue and the original paint.
Lucky for Keith I pressed him to do the engine bay etc. or it would have looked like poo opening the doors, boot or bonnet.
Pics to follow when I get some wifi.
