Any recommendations for summer 3/4 bib shorts?

Evening all,
Has anyone come across summer weight 3/4 bib tights at all? I'm looking for something I can wear right through summer under my MTB knee pads, as they tend to chafe on my knees when I'm wearing them against bare skin.
Obviously they need to be non-insulated, which rules out quite a few models. They do need to be padded, as wearing separate padded shorts would defeat the object of getting lightweight ones, and ideally, I'd rather not pay more than £50.
They'll be used under baggy shorts for 2-3 hour MTB rides, not epic road rides, if that makes a difference.
