Help me.... The o-ring sealing washer that sits on the end of the pipe at the base of the fuel pressure regulator (the one that fits into the high-pressure hose from the fuel tank) has split, and for my troubles I cannot find anywhere that does a replacement. I've tried local parts stores and ford dealers but they tell me its not available. The only thing they can suggest is that I order a whole new regulator (for £60) and hope the ring comes with it

If you know the size I/D - O/D etc...

You should be able to source one from a hydraulic component suppliers... Knowing the material would be good, but they should be able to help with that..

Yeah, got the old one - carrying it around with me in vain desperation for a moment of illumination...

o/d - 15mm
i/d - 9mm

Actual rubber is 3mm thick. Gutted that something so small is causing such a big problem, and I can't find a new one!!!

If it's any consolation, I started to fit my new fule pressure regulator when it was sunny and about 10 mins into the job it persisted down with rain and I hurried and pinched the o-ring and split it, fuel everywhere!

Fortunately, I still had the old one.....

So I guess that partly answers the question of does it come with a new valve.
