Prosche Cayenne stereo/PCM upgrade needed.Any advice welcome
Discussion
Hi guys,
I recently purchased a 2006 Cayenne S and I love it, but the stereo/navigation is a bit old - I can't connect my phone with bluetooth to make calls or music and of course, the Sat Nav is out of date.
I considered updating with a Pioneer double-din system, but I couldn't help think there might be a better way to upgrade by using an official Porsche version.
Does anyone know if it is possible to either upgrade to a better 2006 system with Bluetooth connectivity (if such a thing exists) or if it's possible to upgrade my PCM (?) system to a model from a later year?
I've seen a couple on eBay, but I've no idea if they would fit in my car/model, or if there is a specialist who can make this change for me in south west London?
My thanks in advance for your help.
I recently fitted a Dynavin N6 PC unit which I am happy with , certainly looks factory , easy to use and had all the features anyone would need with options to add DAB radio , reverse camera etc. I managed to fit it myself quite easily although I have the Bose system which also required the MOST adapter and I have still to fit the fibre optic loops which I didn't realise that I needed . Have a look at the website , even though it's £600 it's probably also your cheapest option.
