Skoda Fabia 1.6 TDI CR Monte Carlo - Should I ?

Morning all.
Recently, I have been thinking about swapping my Celica in for something more practical ( luggage space / economy etc.. ) and a bit newer and have been looking at a 2nd hand Skoda as post title.
I would like to know your thoughts really and if anyone has any user experience of them ?
Things that are attracting me to it are the low annual car tax / the fairly high mpg returns.
I currently do approx 15000 annual miles - most within towns but several motorway trips a year plus the odd Euro trip.
Dont get me wrong, my Celica is a great car and I really dont want to be selling it but it has started costing more and more to keep on the road and I think swapping it in makes some sense.
