So I know about the Pistoneheads/GBW meet, are there any other (informal) gatherings? On the Mulsanne straight outisde the Shanghai 24h used to be quite buzzing, but last year there was no one there (although it was peeing it down all day)! Are there any others?

PS I meant 'Friday' not 'Fridat', obvs.

There is a nice little show at mulsanne corner. Nice cars lined up down the run from mulsanne and a few displays, Peugeot 908, pescarolo art car last year. Handy for us as we camp there

Yeah, I've seen that inflatable arch thingy there and wondered what was going on – can anyone get in, or do you need permission to drive thru and park up?

Drive through and Park up smile There is also a photo area where you can get a picture of your car on track (that's the inflatable thingy), but do not do any wheelspins or you will get a right bking! whistle

Chartres as well, if that's your thing smile Usually some tasty cars to see and one or two former drivers hanging around.

My slushbox 525e struggles to break traction in the wet so that shouldn't be a problem! Not that it stops the drunk Danes inisting I give it a go...
