Accumate Cigarette Plug

Hi All,

Quick Question.

Does the cigarette plugin for an accumate charger work on standard Griff 4.3's?

ie. I don't have to do any re-wiring

Mine does. Been using an accumate for 6 years. Never had any battery problems.

I just leave it permanantly plugged in when the cars not in use.

Just make sure that when you have plugged in the connection is a good'un. I got caught out when I had failed to do this, I wiggled the plug and hey presto a good connection, alas to late my battery was flat.

No problems since then, great bit of kit.

The accumate kit comes with a neat little rubber capped plug lead that i have wired across the battery box teminals and positioned it just under the dash.
Using the cigarette lighter for it can cause it to break down with repeated use, i had to replace my lighter housing because of it. I was plugging the Road Angel into it as well so it was getting a lot more use than it was designed for.
