Gents,
Just had the most amazing quote for renewal on my V8S.
I tried Liverpool Victoria, and they have come back with £280!!! yes £280! No mileage restriction and up to 6 months European cover.
Have to say I am in the more 'mature age group' (50+) and haven't had any convictions or claims in the last 5 years. Having said all that, the quote is still £120 less than I paid last year.
I guess there won't be track day cover at that price- -but I still think its very good value.

we went with them last year for 1st time. by far the best deal around for our needs. we usually just renew automatically but last year seemed to be excessive so tried some 6 different companies - l&v was a no brainer price.

good luck!

I rang Liverpool Victoria, very polite on the phone, but they basically said to come back in about 10 years time.

Classicline, £240 with 4k miles, no convictions (one prang - caused by third party but excess not recovered) age 35, S2.

Incidentally, the prang wasn't in the S!

Have you tried A W MAnning, they are recommended by the TVRCC, got mine for £308 on 5000mile limit (s2), and I am 32 with 10 points. Insurance also covers me for TVR track days and only has a £100 excess (track days excluded) which I thought was pretty good.

Only close up photos, job done! saves haggling if I ever have to make a claim though!

PS forgot to mention the insurance covers me and the wife (who only passed her test 2 years ago ) and we both have 3 points!
