What mileage did you change tyres & brakepads on your M5 F10
Discussion
I'm considering buying a 2-3 years old M5 and just wondered how many miles people get from a set of tyres and brake pads?
I realise that there's a huge number of factors that would impact this but I am very curious!
As a aside, if you are looking to sell or trade in your M5 and want a hassle free sale, please give me a shout, I'm looking for a car on 20" wheels with FSH, had run in service and still under manufacturers warranty.

Just had the rear pads changed at 30000 miles.
The service included the following:
Oil
Vehicle check
Intake silencer service
Microfilter
Spark plugs
Rear pads
£896.51 Inc. VAT
I supplied my own oil @ £62
Should have been circa £1150 inc. VAT according to the quote they gave me.
My front pads have 7000 miles left on them and I suspect the disks will get changed at the same time (I won't have it by then but I'm pretty sure that's what will happen).

My car's done 39000 miles an I haven't changed pads or tyres yet.
That's insane. My car's on 26k miles & I've consumed 3 sets of rear pads & 1 set of front pads (the rears take a pounding as are used by the T/C). Currently running Pagid RS29's.
Tyres I'm on my 3rd set of fronts & 2nd set of rears. I do like to take her on track every now & again so that takes its toll on front tyres.
Changed my front discs at 25k miles & my rears still look as new.

My car is on 55,000 miles, bought as ex demo at c1,500 miles in Feb 2012.
Tyres are MPSS and I seem to be getting 20,000 to 25,000 miles from both front and rear tyres.
Rear pads changed at 20,000 miles, second set still good.
Front pads not yet changed !
Still haven't paid for a service yet as had service plan.
I think the next 12-24 months might be expensive for consumables but on the other hand depreciation will be far less painful than early years.

Traded mine back in to dealership at 70,000 miles.
Tyres: Fronts and rears changed at 35,000 miles.
Rears were still ok at trade-in but were going to be changed by dealership (to meet AUC minimum level).
Pads: Rears changed at about 55,000 miles but fronts were never changed and dealership didn't need to change either.
Discs: Never changed.
Clutches: Never changed, although I am aware that these were changed roughly 4 months after the trade-in so 75,000 miles (approx.) .
BUT that's the result of living on the motorway. Rumour has it that F10 M5 Ring Taxis have tyres every 10 laps (210 kilometres) and pads every 20 laps (420 kilometres) so it's massively down to the type of mileage you're going to do.
